maya angelou is the bomb!! not literally but you get my drift. my favorite book written by her is " i know why the cage birds sing" dont ask me why they just couldn't sing lol. i sat reading this book while on the toilet, not like i was using it but i was so glued to the book that the words turned into a human talking to me. This is how i know the books do have the magic to speak to me :)
I love when literature is so consuming that you become immersed in the story. It always makes the read a more pleasurable experience, and the tiny details and nuances jump out at you.
